This inspirational image was taken inside a friends shop at the Spice Market, Marrakech. Some of the natural pigments have been mixed with water creating an interesting transparent display. I just love the colours especially the emerald green, highlighter pink and cobalt blue.
I love the "silver-y" blue to the left of the pink. I'm having ideas... like... instead of water it's coconut oil to create an oil lamp with those colours. Now, spice is not inflammable, right.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea Paula! These are pigment colours used for painting not sure if they are flammable..I will test your idea next time I visit Marrakech.

ABsolutely. Immediately I saw the decor potential of these glassed colours. ;)
